WHO IS DE KLUSKOREAAN? 

My name is Martin ter Horst and my working pseudonym is the Kluskorean. After a long, successful and intensive career in tech, IT, consultancy and management, I decided at the beginning of 2026 to turn my hobby into my profession.

From an early age I have been an enthusiastic handyman and DIYer, and according to myself and others also very talented. Because of that I did almost everything myself: large and small jobs in and around the house, installations at the office, and small renovations and repairs at home and for family and friends. I love rolling up my sleeves, solving problems and creating solutions. In corporate life I did that with software and consultancy, from 2026 onwards, I'll be doing it for real, with tools, wood, plaster and concrete!

I generally work alone, but occasionally I call in some help. On the one hand this makes me very flexible and fully in control of my schedule and of what I can promise my clients. On the other hand, the reinforcements come in very handy for large and heavy jobs, for example, or when highly specialized work needs to be done.

For every job I take on, the rule is that I only do it if I know I can deliver it properly and can estimate in advance how much work it will be and how much time it will take.
